Registration for The (d-League) Winter Basketball
​Program is officially 
CLOSED. 

The program is designed
 for students in the 2nd-12th grade.  The d-League a great opportunity for beginners or mid-level student-athletes to increase, grow and enhance their skill set and abilities.  Winter Program - Nov-Jan 2021.

LSA/Game Elite Blue offers AAU programs for beginners, mid-level & advance level players.  Our goal was to create a comprehensive program that could cover all levels of basketball training & development.

All athletes must Pre-register for AAU Program

The 4th Annual Georgia Elite Youth (FALL) Basketball League is offering a BACK TO SCHOOL "SPECIAL" of $150 (Discount of $25) if registered by August 27th.  Early Bird was $125 before August 7th.

LSA Jr. Hoopers, Team LSA & LSA Lady Hoopers:
Boys & Girls Grades: 2nd - 12th
Friday and/or Sunday League
August 24th - October 21st


Main Focus: Building Self-Esteem & Tryout Preparation. Whether you're a mid-level talent or have years of experience, our AAU base Fall team training/league play is a excellent program.

The GEYBL Fall participation normal cost is $175 per player and $350 per team.  Spots are limited, so register your student or team today to secure a spot for the summer.

Players will receive (1) or (2) days a week training/practice.  Our workout & skills sessions are held every (Tuesday& Thursday) @ Jessie Davis Rec Center, 7775 Malone St, Douglasville GA from 6:45-8:30pm.

Congratulations...

On making the decision to get moving!  Exercise will not only help you feel better but it will improve your health and enhance both the longevity and quality of your life.  Your question of where to start is easy to answer.  You simply start at the beginning.  You start moving little by little, pushing a little more each day.  It's easy to fear the unknown and imagine the task of exercise as complicated and difficult.  However, there is no secret to exercise.  Our bodies are designed to move. 

Just because you're a beginner, don't let the exercise fanatics of the world intimidate you!   Everyone starts somewhere and by starting at your personal beginning and staying with it, you will be fitter tomorrow than you are today.  Don't let the goal of getting fit overwhelm you either.  Take one day at a time, if that's too much to fathom, take one hour at a time.

To increase your chances of successfully finding activities that you'll enjoy for years to come, we have designed a program of doing a variety of activities, also known as cross training.  Cross training gives your body and mind the best workout possible by challenging a variety of muscles in different ways and preventing exercise boredom and burnout.

Obviously that covers a broad range of activities and, luckily, there are plenty to go around whether you want to lose weight, get healthy or train for a sport.

Execise can help with mild depression.  I would not depend on it to treat severe mood problems.  But even there, exercise provides many important health benefits.

Regular activity makes us feel better about ourselves.  People who exercise regularly report being more cheerful and less stressed.  They sleep better and have a better appetite.

Many people feel good while they exercise and right afterward.  But exercise also changes the brain in positive and lasting ways.  Brain cells get healthier and make stronger connections.  So with regular exercise, mood improvements can really last.

To Get Started, the intial  registration & annual membership fee is only $105. 

Thereafter, the monthly program fee is only $70.  You can pay Bi-weekly for $35.00 to help manage your bugdet.

Motivating Yourself to Exercise

I think the most important step in starting an exercise routine is exploring the idea of motivation. Without that, all the advice in the world won't do you any good.

It's important to remember that motivation doesn't just happen. It's something you make happen each and every day. If you have multiple reasons to exercise, you'll always have something to get you moving, even when motivation is short.
The hardest part of exercise is getting started... if you can get that far, you've won half the battle.

     Some ideas:

Remind yourself of your weight loss goals.

Think of a future event to get ready for (a wedding, a vacation, etc.)

Consider how much energy you'll have to get more things done.

Imagine how relaxed you'll feel after a workout.

Think of your exercise time as the only time you may get to yourself all day.

Remind yourself how good you'll feel by following through.

Promise yourself a reward for completing your workout.

Think of all the diseases and illnesses your workout could protect you from.

Remind yourself that this workout is necessary to reach your goal.
